  • Comfortable walking/hiking shoes — hiking boots are not necessary
  • Water shoes — Crocs are not sufficient
  • Bandana or cap

Outdoor Essentials

  • Daypack / backpack
  • CamelBak with a minimum 2L capacity OR 2 reusable water bottles (at least 40 oz total; wide-mouth preferred)
  • Rain gear — lightweight rain jacket, poncho and/or umbrella
  • Sunscreen
  • Sunglasses
  • Insect repellent — important!
  • Lip balm
  • Small flashlight
  • Towel for water activities
